Aloneness and Loneliness ~ contemplation

after seeker had traveled what seemed like a far distance along the path ~ and with awareness and self determination negotiated its many challenges ~ seeker began to feel as though he were the only traveler who had trekked such a distance.

understanding much of the mystery of his light, seeker had come to trust it ~ knowing how and where to find it.

no longer fearing his own darkness ~ with confidence, passion and gratitude seeker tended the sustenance of his illumination.

seeker had grown aware that, although the path may seem deserted, although the path may   appear dark and void ~ there were always those along the path, who may be lightless for a time. and seeker was ever cautious of stumbling upon travelers invisible to him.

at long last, seeker had begun to question the very nature of the path which seemed to hold all existence together as a whole.

seeker had long ago accepted his destiny as a seeker and his responsibilities as well, for he had become also ~ a teacher.

he was uncertain, but courageous and strong enough of faith to wonder:

‘is the path, a path of light
darkened only by fear.... by hate....’

‘or is the path, a path of darkness
illuminated only by faith.... by love....’
