Conception and Wholeness ~ faith innocence wonder |
|
the path is one of faith.... one of wisdom....
the path is endless.
and although, at times, familiar.... our selves as much as the path can seem unknown.
and so, at times, seem very dark.
this is the story of a seeker’s journey.
seeker ~ like all inhabitants of the path, as well as the path ~ reflects a blend of both female and male persuasions.
seeker, came to the path as these....
as both as one as all
as ‘ia’.
yet, seeker walked this path in the form of a man.
his journey began upon seeker’s conception as a human being.
and the path at the beginning of his journey was very bright....
at first, seeker could see very far down the path, and so hurried along ~ eager to discover new and exciting things ahead.
the path was well lit; for, it shone with the light of faith from the very many beings in front of seeker who, like seeker, were beginning their journeys.
seeker, along side many travelers, brought upon the path his own light ~ an equal and great illumination.
like the many others ~ a light unique of purpose and intent, unique of means and method....
a light common of instinct, ancient wisdom, faith and wonder.
a
light seeker was so intimately aware of ~
like the others, seeker’s was a light which would brighten and fade with each influence and perception.... with each encounter with his self and his emotions.... with each triumph, failure, truth and falsehood seeker would experience along his journey.
seeker’s light, like theirs, was pure and all-consuming. like the many others who had just begun their journey, his light was fueled with a burning desire to learn and fathomless innocent curiosity.
seeker’s light shone strong and true as seeker growing.... aging.... experiencing.... took many steps along the still lit path.
then, as seeker grew more confident of direction.... more sure of the way.... more certain of his illumination.... he began to notice others along the path ~ the varied and numerous other sources of light.
he passed some, but still fell behind others. some lights were strong, while others were dim and flickered.
seeker especially noticed the lights of those who walked nearby.
they seemed certain of their way, and seeker wondered.... if only for a
moment.... ‘could theirs be a brighter light? could they somehow be more
sure of their direction? could they somehow have secret knowledge of a final
destination?’ |
