Introduction
While every writer may possess similar training or publishing credits, it is
their personal experience and, therefore, perception, approach, style and ear
that make them unique. As a writer with over twenty-five years of
experience, a highly attuned voice, and fortified with personal interests and
professional credentials which enhance my knowledge of various topics and
industries, I am the ideal professional resource for a publisher or producer
looking for high-quality, on-demand commercial content.
Qualifications
In the course of my writing career, I've written, among other things,
feature articles,
advertising copy, catalog content, optimized web content, business
communiqués,
political campaign materials, technical papers, fiction, non-fiction and
poetry.
I'm also an artist, graphic designer, licensed real estate broker and certified
paralegal. In 2004 I began AIMS -
Accelerated Innovative Marketing Solutions, bringing to bear a majority of
my technical skills for the promotional benefit of small businesses in my market area
[Vail and Aspen to Grand Junction, Colorado]. This has given me an
opportunity to assist small businesses in crafting their brand image and
projecting their voice via the comprehensive creation of graphics and
copy while aligning these materials with specific growth objectives and
outreach strategies.
I am
accustomed to objective-oriented writing, the editorial process and meeting
deadlines. Whether for an audience or a market, an article or advertisement -

Areas of Interest
I am a quite malleable writer, and my work has taken many forms. Whether
writing interviews, how-to articles, reviews, human interest stories,
journalistic articles, -- you name it -- I've yet to work within a form I
could not appreciate for the function it brought to the process. I
am particularly interested in covering stories (especially through
interviewing) about people and events that profoundly shape our lives.
My
topical interests are widely varied, but predominantly include:
